“Lāhainā Strong” is the rallying cry of West Maui to express their resolve and determination in the face of great adversity and change.
After the devastating fires of 8/8/23 that destroyed the town of Lāhainā, DLXHI partnered with REAL Skateboards to bring to the community a limited edition Actions REALized deck created by Lāhainā-born and raised artist Joseph K Paʻahana to commemorate this tragic event and bring a vision of hope to the future of Lāhainā. Partnering with Maui skate shops and the Maui Sports Foundation, proceeds from the sale of this deck will be used to provide valuable, targeted support to the skateboarding community of Lāhainā.
Join Mason Silva, Nicole Hause, and Chima Ferguson for a Skate Jam celebration Saturday June 8th at Pukalani Skatepark from 2-5pm with our friends from Up Country Skate Shop, Aloha Skate Shop, and Hi Tech Surf Shop – Followed by a BBQ and live music by Arii Cotter at Up Country Skate Shop from 6-9pm.
The Limited Edition Actions REALized deck, available in 8.06”, 8.25”, 8.38” True Fit, and 8.5”, will be available at local Maui skate shops Up Country Skate Shop, Aloha Skate Shop, and Hi Tech Surf Shop Saturday June 8th and select outer island skate shops, Friday June 14th.
