DLXSF Known Associate: Quiante Hoggard
KNOWN ASSOCIATE: Quiante Hoggard.
AGE: 16.
WHAT DO YOU DO? Skate, school, work at the Exploratorium (AM maintenance, and community outreach - going to schools and teaching kids about various exhibits and the science behind them.)
WHAT DID YOU MAKE? a Real Xmas display/paperweight/light-up monstrosity.
WHY? I was doing things at work, seemed like a cool project. started as one thing and turned into another.
HOW DID YOU DO IT? I got the logo from the internet; used Illustrator to get the right format and used a laser-cutter to etch the plexiglass. peeled off the backing and sand-blasted the logo, drilled holes for the lights, etc.
HOW LONG HAVE YOU BEEN SKATING? got my first board at DLX 4 years ago; Dompierre NOS 7.75, gold/blue Ventures, 51mm green/white Hubbas, Thunder bolts, Spitfire bearings.
3 FAVORITE SKATERS? Peter Ramondetta, Jake Donnelly, Kelly Hart.
FAVORITE SPOT IN SF? the island, 3 up, Stanyan/Waller ledges, that 4block in upper Haight.
WORDS OF WISDOM? just keep skating; have fun, try not to get frustrated, keep on trying!

Thanks, on a related note, Im rollin on a real Dennis Busenitz deck by REAL skate boards(name of the brand, go to dlxsf.com)
with bones reds, spitfire wheels, and terry kenedy trucks by venture…and shortys hardware…with jessup grip
now, whats the best grip, deck, trucks, bearings, wheels, and everything on a board
