Darin Howard.
For years now, Darin Howard has made sure that your favorite Deluxe riders have made it to the Demo in your local town.
He has made sure that your favorite riders have stuff to skate and so on and so on.
I asked him a couple questions the other day and here are his answers.

- Where in North Carolina are you from?
I lived all around Eastern North Carolina. From Havelock, Newport, Morehead City and Wilmington, NC.
- Are there certain things you miss from back home?
The beach at summer time. Last summer on a Real trip through the area I got to take the crew to the Emerald Isle beach I use to go to. 70 degree water makes for good swimming.
- First SF memory?
Scrounging enough change to get through the toll at the Bay Bridge, pulling off on an exit and taking a piss on Howard street in the pouring rain.
- I remember reading you came here with nothing…any tips to survive on nothing?
Being motivated enough to make it through, try to make yourself believe that it’ll all work out. And having just enough money for 1 burrito a day helps.
- You remember your first deluxe board?
It was a Kelly Bird, then I had a couple Deeds boards.
- Standard question : dream session, where and who?
When I first moved here I somehow got to skate Jim’s ramp with Max. That was like a dream. Except I sucked, and I think in a dream you should rip. So lets say Fondo, with Dennis, Pete, Van and The Body.
- Can you give any info on the Real video? I know people are waiting for it.
Real video, lets say, Spring ‘10.
- What’s next? any trips planned out?
Van Wastell Memorial Skate Jam at the Berrics.
THANKS.
