As long as you’re out there doing things to help build your skate scene and giving skaters in your area more to skate, then we want to see it.
- Get your crew together and make a video of yourself liberating a spot, building a new one, or making the unskateable skateable.
- Post your video on youtube and add the link to the comment section below.
It’s not about how big or expansive or even great it is what you do - just that you DO something. All clips will be judged not on size and scope of project but by effort. Don’t worry if its just you alone. All it takes is 1 to start a revolution.
Starting Feb 8th we’ll begin picking winners - and we’ll keep going as long as we can if you will…
..well pick our favorite videos and reward the crews accordingly with Know Associates decks and other REAL goodies.

It’s winter in WInnipeg, so we have to deal with months on-end of cold weather. So a bunch of us local’s invested in renting out a warehouse, we’re still working on building the place though. So heres a video filmed by Alex Doyle making due with what’s built so far!

I made this video of my friend Cole, skating a 1/2 finished warehouse/skatepark that us and some friends had been working on. Living in Canada with the -40 temperatures, this is one of the only places we’ve got to skate, making due with what we’ve got.

I forgot to say that we got together to clean this spot up for the local kids in the area so they had a fun, safe place to skate. We built the box and there is now a better pole jam. Every time we went back to do more work there was two or three times the amount of kids then last time. Its really cool, I think the kids like, I know we do.

nice wall ride in the ditch behind work. there was a qp with brick coping, pump bump, and pole jam. the county ripped it out though now.

We built a ledge off a drop at a building foundation. We call it “The Drop Spot.” We also have a rail, stairs, ramps, and a polejam gap. We’re hoping to add some more stuff in the spring once the all the snow melts.

We have been building skateable stuff at this spot called the “shoe factory” for kids to skate. At first we would pitch in the money and labor to build obstacles, but now kids have taken pride in this spot and help out building and keeping it clean. With no skatepark in Birmingham, this is our skatepark! They are nearing completion of a 12 million dollar city park (not skatepark) directly across the street, and once this happens, our spot will be gone. As always, we will then take it to the streets more and find another derelict lot to take over!!!

Me and my friends build a few obstacles in an old warehouse. All our obstacles have now been demolished by the council and they have hired a security guard that is there 24/7 to stop us coming back which sucks because we had so much fun building things and skating them.

My buddy Paul designed the “mini monster” bowl and he and I with the help of a few friends and a few beers, built it. Our first ever attempt at building corners. We wanted to maximize space, so a bowl with extension made perfect sense over the standard minihalf. Rather than have no one come over to skate a tiny miniramp, we’ve had plenty of guests come over to rip the minibowl. This little bank was right next to a recent grocery store that closed. We “found” a parking block and made a bank quarter tranny thingy. Located in San Antonio, TX at NW military and Huebner rd. behind the Sonic drive in. We had to wait two weeks till we skated it for a second layer from bad weather and dicks fuck’in with. It’s all dry now-RIDE THE FIRE!!
