Anyone that ever witnessed Ryan Gaynier on a board knew how much he loved skateboarding and how flawless he was. He always gave a smile and two thumbs up (even though he was missing them) that would automatically put a smile on your face. Anyone that ever met him even if just for a second learned what a great person he was on and off the board. You will be missed my friend, now we push for you. -Eric, Refuge Skateboard Shop

No matter how big skateboarding gets, we will always remain a tight, connected community. When we lose one of our own, we all feel it. Ryan will always be a member of our family and sadly missed. Our hearts and thoughts go out to everyone at Refuge Skateboard Shop and to all of Ryan’s friends and family. Rest In Peace Ryan.
