Building a mini ramp, what transition radius should I use?

I know you duds have built many a ramp.
Wanna make it mellow, but not too mellow.
Gonna be 3 feet 6 inches high, 8 feet wide and 8 feet of flat bottom.
6'10" transition looks too mellow....
I'm thinking maybe 6'1"....
Is there a magic radius that just feels "right"?
What do you think duds?

Poopsea your concrete in your backyard is super tight, what transition is that?
Here's where the ramp will be going... That area is about 11 feet wide and 25 feet long.

i had a 3ft mini that had 5ft tranny's and it was mellow and rad.

I'll prolly make it 5'5" or somewhere around there just to be safe, definitely want it mellow.
Yeah definitely will need help! Gonna stockpile materials over the rainy months and start construction as soon as the rain stops. Will definitely need extra hands and extra tools once the building starts!

I am dealing with a five ft tall ramp with nearly 8 ft trannies. Many seem to like it but, though I destroy it, I long (sometimes tearfully) for a tighter and / or taller wall. Too mellow is NOT the answer. It is not, unless you need to work on axle stalls, going to help you.

Don't buy any new wood for the framing. I sourced 99% of the wood and screws for my putt-hut
(from Habitat for Humanity and C&K Salvage) and payed a little under $150 total!

Also, if you wait for whenever campaign signs go up, they also come down. Lots of 4x8 plywood & studs to be had.

Good idea pachess, rustic half pike tims 1up.
Steeper is fast and fun, and fellow old duds might convince you how have to be able to smith grind it no matter how tall it is, but don't take this too far or you'll be working so hard on the basics you' might never feel like skating it.
Between 5' and 6' trannies should be good. Here it is at 5.5 radius and 3'6" high. Looks good on paper, but I'd draw a couple out and just do what looks right to you.
How close is your nearest neighbor?
