Cleveland has something similar except it is built and operated by skaters and the proceeds all go toward the future poured in place concrete park (that will replace the dangerously flimsy pre-fab metal park that the skaters refused to skate and that they in fact urged the city to demolish).
Its called the skating kitchen or something. Its a bunch of stupid little (but fun) ramps that fit in a truck. You can order it for your street fair or your kids birthday party.

These same people also, out of their own pockets, built an indoor miniramp open to anyone who'd like to join. Its raised over 10000 bucks (much of which covered rent and materials)in the first two months and will be used to teach lessons on all winter. Future income from the project goes, yes, toward poured in place and open to the public concrete.
