I decided to pull the trigger on a couple of decks to skate over the coming weeks.

Exhibit B

Also picked up this to slick up the local curns with;

Now, I know at 34 I'm probably too old to buy wax, but hey, it's shaped like mini sticks of dynamite and each one has a wick so it doubles as a candle. Deluxe - always one step ahead!!

Yeah, it's really nice in the flesh. Not sure if I should set it up first or go with the Chimapet. Either way I'm looking forward to skating em both!

Shops stock Real out there James or are you ordering from shops out here?

The shops over here stock Real. The Deluxe brands as a whole are pretty popular over here and most shops stock Deluxe's stuff.

I live in an area called the West Midlands. I don't have a local shop anymore as it closed down a few years ago - sadly.

I found out recently that there is a shop about 20 miles from me. 95% of there inventory is for cone wigglers though. Although they do have a few DLX goods.

cone wiggler, i think, applies to slalom skateboarding but i lump all those longboards with the funky shapes and weird ass wheels and shit in there as well.

Richard was the first person i remember using the term

Got these in the mail the other day:

Got about half an hour in on the workshop before I snapped my kingpin. Weird shape, the nose feels like it's almost vertical. Good for nose manuals, strange for nollie.

it's on the new 8.25 shape; you'd probably like it in person also.

Skateboard race down lookout mountain interrupted by helicopter crash where all passengers escaped serious injuries? Sounds like a mawfuggin CHiPs episode.
