I cheated and looked it up... I also didn't know the Messina was in Buffalo Springfield? Weird? Or maybe not weird, if everyone else knew that.

More free post-meeting work food for me. Momentarily though I'd mistakenly grabbed eggplant, turned out to be steak. God I hate eggplant.

Me & a friend are splittin' 1/2 a cow. I'm gonna push my red meat intake into the danger zone starting next week. My local que joint is smoking a brisket & it'll be ready around 4:30. So I'm gonna ease into red mead o.d. in about an hour.

man, i am actually thinking about quitting eating meat...don't get me wrong, it aint about some animal rights shit, I could give a fuck about that...i just feel kinda crappy lately, and I know it's from eating shitty, and eating meat definitely isn't too healthy...i watched that Forks Over Knives documentary recently. Some pretty interesting scientific shit in that piece....i dunno, just a fleeting thought...(just like one of my other thoughts recently which was to ONLY eat BBQ'd meat the whole time I am in Texas next month)....who knows....

believe it or not, I've been entertaining similar thoughts. don't think I can (or maybe should?) quit entirely, but I definitely need to cut down.

Ayo, headlock, I gots two words for you: bacon. bacon.
I go on fish only benders every so often. But giving up meat entirely? Is it Lent already? Also, your BBQ-ONLY diet sounds amazing. Post before & after pics. I bet the beard gets fierce with all that sauce.

They're all slightly different. The one on geary is a noodle house, the one on 2nd is more fancy appetizers and cocktails type of thing with like lobster and shit. Those are the only two I've been to.
Had the pumpkin curry with chicken. It was fanfuckingtastic.

My Nebraskan friend's father raises cattle for meeeeat....sends briskets and steaks out to CA occasionally, SO FUCKING GOOD. 100% corn fed of course, none of that new age hippy California grass fed lean bullshit that taste like wood.
Also, my other friend goes deer hunting in Michigan every fall, one deer lasts about 8 months eating it frequently. Deer jerky good too.
