New office set up.

Picked up this desk at Ikea and assembled it over the weekend.
its a nice, solid, sturdy wood, the legs are solid too. The elevated monitor stand is a nice little bonus. Powerbook goes underneath. the OG stereo wilburn is for sale if anyone is interested.

My shit is horribly depressing compared to all this. But for what my workspace lacks in any sort of basic human comfort or modernity, it more than makes up for in privacy and space which is really hard to come by in skyscraper-land when you don't sit at the top of the corporate food chain.

(it's about 3 times larger than the pic shows - you get all sorts of room when you're willing to forego such frivalities like windows and natural light of any sort).

Those prone to Seasonal Affective Disorder, avert your gaze.

The windo in my office overlooks the Brookln Bridge... It's pretty dope, but I don't have a digi camera on me at the moment...

Here's what I would see if I had a window, which I don't. Taken from another office:

Only VP's have actual offices at my place. Then the cubes are sized according to your title.

Yeah, it's Cherry. It's my first real, non-cube office in about 10 years. Here are some other pics if anyone cares.
