Chima: Vans in New Zealand.
How did you guys find that spot?
Chima: I do believe O’Meally had prior knowledge to the whereabouts.
Was that the first time you skated that spot?
Chima: Yes indeed.
Did someone else session this spot with you?
Chima: Yep Pfanner filmed a crazy line there.
How many tries did it take you?
Chima: No idea it was a while ago.
What did you guys do after skating the spot?
Chima: Sweated in the van for a while.
What’s your favorite part about New Zealand?
Chima: Wildlife.
How long have you known Mike?
Chima: About 7 years now i think.

Mike: VANS Tour of NZ
Was that the first time you guys been to that particular spot?
Mike: Yes, we heard about it from David Read at Manual Mag, NZ.
What’s your favorite part about New Zealand?
Mike: The people, the scenery & the clean air.
When you got the photo did you think it would end up on the cover?
Mike: I didn’t think about it, but I knew it was a good one, the rail was so tall and he made it look effortless.
How long have you known Chima?
Mike: Long enough to know he is a legend.
What is your favorite shot of Chima you’ve ever taken?
Mike: Could be this one! There was also a gnarly ollie in Sydney over the Ian Thorpe Aquatic Centre ramp - huge!
How long have you been shooting photos with Chima?
Mike: Couple years now… more than 5, less than ten.
What’s your favorite camera?
Mike: Nikon or Mamiya, Hasselblad is nice too.
