Yesterday we opened up the warehouse doors to our Bay area shops so they could come in and hang, grab some fresh fall gear, and see the new happenings inside Deluxe. Thanks to all the shops that rolled through, check out the photos from a fun afternoon.

This week Boo set it off for Venture, Daewon spent the day dorkin around, Rattray taught river dancing, David Clark went downtown, #instareal kept the hunt rolling, Ed talked Gonz, Lance killed Combi, Nassim doubled down for a firing line, Brockel got up on the wall, Lizard took a passion trip, and to finish it out HUF smashed some shit with his new LOW PRO deck….if you’re out in KC for street league stop by Escapist to win & Save then catch all the live street league KC madness with @jimt43 and @mickeydlx, tell em what you want to see, they’re taking request.

In skateboarding and in life its the people you surround yourself with that can make it or break it, at DLX we’re lucky to have talented and dedicated people like Andrew Mecum. In addition to playing a huge part at DLX for over 10 years now our international sales rep Andrew is also a very talented artist who currently has an amazing collaborative art show with his wife Nahline just right up the street from DLX. With so many great skate shops in northern california sometimes we jut gotta bring everyone over to join in the madness. This week we opened up our warehouse for shops to stop by and load up on all the new Spring ‘12 DLX gear and hang with the crew. Although the earthquake & tsunami that struck Japan were almost a a year ago now, the devastating impacts the disaster had on the country are still very prominent with hundreds of thousands of people still in need of relief efforts and help to rebuild. Our very good Friend CB from Heshdawz took things into his own hands and  got together with master lensmen Joe Brook on a very special Japan Relief deck to continue to help those in need.

A big thank you goes out to PLA skateshop and everyone that came out to Omar Salazar’s Spitfire Wheel and Nike Shoe Launch party over the weekend, it was a great night, check out a couple photos of Omar and the crew.

Recently Crys Worley of A.skate and Peter Karvonen of Faith Skate supply invited Darin down to the Masters of Tattoo convention to help raise money for the A.skate foundation. Darin happily attended to hang out with James Hardy and the Faith crew and of course get a few more tattoos, after all it went towards a great cause.
