50 years ago DLX Known Associate, Luke Physioc’s father skated one of the first skateboards in a nearby elementary school. Fast forward to present day, Luke saw the 50 year old photo of his dad and realized the school was close to his house and set out to recreate the photo. Father and son skating the same spot 50 years apart, simply amazing. Thank you for sharing it Luke.

This Saturday May 18th, our good friends at Orchard Skateshop in Massachusetts together with Vans are hosting an exhibition featuring the works of Dennis McNett for Antihero, along with the release of their new ‘Off Campus Housing’ Orchard X AH Project by Dennis McNett. The show will feature all of Mcnett’s original artwork for Antihero, Eric Pupecki spinning records, free beer and special guests Julien Stranger and John Cardiel.

Today a few of the DLX crew broke out at lunch to go skate with the kids at Johan Barrios Sk8 Club at Cesar Chavez Elementary school here in the city. With great non-profit organizations and skate clubs supporting the clubs and ripping kids, the future of skateboarding looks bright.
