Lakai started it off with some molotov cocktails, Ishod, Theotis and Shane O’neill hit the streets of NYC, Real brought HD to the berrics, Dressen took it back to the classics then got round up with Guzman, Appleyard was bangin, Cole and Asta went non stop cross country at rise, krush, woodward, before cole and Malto headed out to AZ to get ready for this weekends Street League inaugural event, but when its all said and done this week can be summed up in one short word….dylan.

This Saturday August 28th The Armory in Costa Mesa, CA is having a party for the launch of Rob Welsh’s all new special edition Spitfire X Armory Collab wheel and Pleasure goods pack. Come out for the meet and greet with Rob @ 5pm and stay for the release party at 6pm. It’s Guaranteed to be a good time, don’t miss it!

This Saturday August 28th Is Toad and Salmon’s annual chili bowl cook off contest at the  Potrero Del Sol skatepark. Come out and join the party with beers, bowls, and plenty of chili from 11am to 5pm.

The enormous amount of support for Lee Bender just keeps coming. Hazard County skatepark is having a skate Jam and BBQ to benefit Lee on September 11th. Then if you’ve got a motorcycle you need to go on Ride for Lightning, Tim Lind and friends are putting on a ride through the Blue ridge Mountains of SC/NC following old moonshine routes to help raise money for Lee. Over the weekend the guys at Reign Skate celebrated their shop’s 1 year anniversary and used the party as an opportunity to raise money for the Johnnykickscancer foundation with the help of Jamie Thomas, Chris Cole, and a dunk tank. Thanks to Justin, skip, and everyone  at reign for making it happen, truly amazing!!

Skateboarding has recently lost another great one. Long time Hawaii skater and dear friend of many Kenny Brimer sadly passed away. To Celebrate his life and memory his friends and family are having a benefit for the Kenny Brimer Celebration of Life Memorial tonight in Honolulu, Hawaii and In conjunction Solitary arts has put together an auction to raise money for the memorial, including pieces from Tommy Guerrero, Mark Gonzales, Neil Blender, Ed Templeton, Todd Francis and many more.
